He could feel eyes looking at him. Jerking his head up, he saw Clarence sitting on his haunches, staring at him.<br /><br /> "What now, Clarence?" Harvey crowed.<br /><br /> "Just wondering," Clarence propped his muzzle on his paws.<br /><br /> "About what?" Harvey stopped eating. He hated it when the dog watched him eat.<br /><br /> "You know, the mysteries of the universe," Clarence said philosophically. <br /><br /> "You're weird." Harvey spread his wings, and then relaxed. "Dogs have too much time on their paws."<br /><br /> Clarence sat up. "Which came first - the chicken, or the egg?"<br /><br /> "That's a bad joke, Clarence." Harvey hated these idiotic jokes. <br /><br /> "Haven't you ever wondered that?"
